The Vehicle Loop Detector is designed to detect the presence and passage of vehicles. It features a reset switch that allows manual resetting during commissioning and testing, enabling the detector to re-tune the sensing loop and prepare for vehicle detection. Selectable pulse time allows the user to set the duration for which the pulse relay remains energized to either 1 second or 0.5 seconds. The pulse relay can be configured to activate when a vehicle is detected or when a vehicle exits the loop. The sensitivity boost function sets the detection level to maximum sensitivity, helping prevent missed detections of high-bed vehicles. Switch-selectable sensitivity provides four levels of sensitivity adjustment for flexible configuration. Additionally, switch-selectable frequency offers four frequency options to prevent interference between adjacent loops. A filter option introduces a delay between vehicle detection and output relay activation, which helps avoid false triggers from small or fast-moving objects. The permanent presence feature ensures continuous detection when a vehicle remains parked over the loop for extended periods.
