A. This rod holder features innovative smooth styling and clamps on, making it relatively easy to rail mount without drilling holes in the boat. B. It is made from 316 stainless steel and can be used in various marine environments. The tube is lined with a UV - resistant black PVC and has 2 pieces of rubber gaskets attached. These rubber gaskets can grip the rail and help prevent damage to it. C. It can adjust 360 degrees and lock at any angle. It is relatively simple to remove when not in use. It has a 9 - inch length, a 2 - inch outer diameter tube with a 3/16 - inch PVC pin inside. The pin across the bottom helps keep the rod from rotating. D. It is polished by hand to a mirror finish. After buffing, in the passivation process, acid and rinsing are used to remove surface contaminants from the products and produce a hydrous oxide film, which improves corrosion resistance.
