It includes a removable, high-quality 18/10 stainless steel filter for loose teas or blooming teas, and the lid fits the tea filter whether it's inserted or removed. This beautiful teapot can be placed directly in the microwave or on gas or electric stovetops. Use a medium heat source to warm water for brewing. Your delicious teas can also be reheated in the microwave, directly on gas or electric stovetops, kept warm on open-flame teapot warmers, or placed in the refrigerator or direct sunlight for cold brewing. The borosilicate glass container has been optimized to be thicker and stronger for daily free use. It is dishwasher safe on the top rack or can be hand-washed.
