Depth must be at least 2.8 inches. For inner brackets, the blind width must be at least 1/4 inch less than the window width. There will be a tiny gap on each side, so the fabric width is at least 1.5 inches smaller. In other words, the fabric width is 1.5 inches smaller than the roll mechanism. - External mounting: lower requirements than internal mounting. Roller blind width must be 7-8 inches wider than the window width to avoid gaps. The scooter tones length must be at least 7 inches longer than the window length to ensure that the entire window covers. - Use scenarios: - Living room or family room with large windows: external mounting can provide full coverage and a clean, unobtrusive look while easing installation. - Bedroom or private space: internal installation helps control light and privacy without external projections. - Rental or retrofit projects: external mounting offers flexible fit with minimal recess depth and quick setup.
