Ground loop video isolator is designed to eliminate interference in CCTV video (or audio) signals caused by ground loop voltage. Ground loop interference occurs when there is a potential difference between the two ends of a video cable, resulting in unwanted AC current flow through the shielding layer and equipment chassis. Under normal conditions, the shield voltage is 0V; however, in the presence of a ground loop, this voltage fluctuates around 0V, potentially causing severe video distortion, tearing, horizontal lines, raster patterns, or snowflake noise. Interference becomes more likely when video signal transmission exceeds 100 meters, and excessively high ground loop voltage may damage connected equipment.This single-channel video isolator provides isolation for balanced or unbalanced audio/video signals and includes an integrated common-mode interference filter to suppress noise picked up along transmission cables.
