Drive Box EDC15/ME7 OBD2 IMMO Deactivator Activator Car Accessory This device is compatible with EDC15 (diesel) and ME7 engine control units. The EDC15 diesel engine control unit is used in select vehicle models from 1999 onwards. The ME7 engine control unit applies to engines from 1.6L and above. Also supported are control unit types ME7.5, ME7.5.1, ME7.1, and ME7.1.1. Instructions for use: Simply plug the Drive Box EDC15/ME7 into the vehicle’s OBD2 diagnostic port. Switch the Drive Box to "OFF" position. Within 20 seconds, the immobilizer will be deactivated (IMMO OFF). No computer required. The LED on the device will initially flash slowly, then rapidly, indicating that the immobilizer function has been disabled. The vehicle can operate without a transponder key. To reactivate the immobilizer, switch the Drive Box to "ON" position. Within 20 seconds, the immobilizer will be activated (IMMO ON). Compatible with select models equipped with Motronic EDC15 (diesel) or ME7 engine management systems. Not intended for 1.8T, 2.0TFSI, 1.4, or 1.6 engine models.
