3 Bar diaphragm safety valve with rear attack, 1/2" MF threadThe diaphragm safety valves are used for pressure control on heat generators in heating systems and more generally on all powered systems with water or with mixtures of water and carrier liquids (e.g. glycol). When the calibration pressure is reached, the valve opens preventing, by discharge into the atmosphere, the circuit from reaching pressure spikes that could damage generator or circuit components. The pressure of the exhaust valve is calibrated by the manufacturer, and no variation from the set calibration is possible if it is not altered the valve itself.
