I2C Interface 16-Bit DAC Module with STEMMA QT and Qwiic Compatibility

The AD5693R breakout board features a 16-bit DAC with an I2C interface and a temperature-compensated 2.5V internal reference for compact, high-precision output. The ADDR/A0 pin is broken out, allowing two DACs to share one I2C bus—simply pull A0 high (or close the jumper on the back) to avoid address conflicts. A 6-pin header is included for breadboarding. The board operates with either 3.3V or 5V logic, and the output maximum can be set to either 2.5V or 5V (2×Vref). When powered at 3.3V, the output range can be configured to either 2.5V or Vin. An easy-to-use library and tutorial are provided, including a sine wave output example compatible with most microcontrollers or microcomputers supporting I2C. A standard 0.1-inch header is included for use with breadboards or perfboards. Four mounting holes enable secure installation. A 3.5mm terminal block footprint is present on the PCB; terminal blocks are not included but are widely available and can be soldered in place if desired. For quick integration, the board is designed in the STEMMA QT form factor with Qwiic-compatible I2C connectors on both sides, enabling solderless connections to other compatible sensors and accessories.
