The pair emits infrared light at a defined frequency and detects obstacles within the sensor’s detection area. Key benefits - Practical obstacle avoidance: suitable for robot navigation, obstacle-avoidance cars, line counting, and black-and-white line following. - Adjustable sensing: detects objects from 2 to 30 cm away with a detection angle of 35 degrees. - Easy integration: OUT can be connected to a microcontroller port, enabling a 5V relay to be operated remotely. - Compatible with common 5V microcontroller setups for straightforward wiring and control. Use scenarios - Small autonomous robot or obstacle-avoidance car for education or hobby projects. - Line-following or line-counting applications that require sensing of black and white lines. - Simple automation tasks where obstacle detection triggers a 5V relay control via a microcontroller.
