How to Use: 1. The set includes two taps, typically used as the first (taper) tap and second (bottoming) tap. 2. First Tap Function: The tip of the first tap has a tapered end with shallow threads, allowing for easy alignment with the hole and ensuring perpendicular positioning for smooth cutting. 3. Second Tap Function: Used to finish and refine the thread after the first tap, improving thread quality and removing burrs. For blind holes, it can tap closer to the bottom.
