For consistent results, maintain a fixed, appropriate distance during testing. 3. Avoid touching the rear metal plate with any part of your body during measurement, as this may affect accuracy. 4. A reading without a sign indicates detection of positive ions; a “−” sign indicates detection of negative ions. 5. Always set the power switch to OFF before starting a new measurement.
