Connect one end of the cable or telephone cable to be tested to the RJ45/RJ11 port of the transmitter. Turn on the receiver and adjust its sensitivity knob to maximum. Bring the receiver probe close to the cable. When a signal is detected, the receiver emits a “beep-beep-beep” sound. The stronger the signal, the brighter the yellow-green indicator light flashes—helping you quickly locate the approximate cable position. After identifying the general location, reduce the receiver’s sensitivity to precisely identify the target line. Line-to-Line Function: Rotate the transmitter knob switch to the "Alignment" position. The alignment indicator light stays on, indicating alignment mode is active. This function is used to verify wire sequence, detect shorts, opens, and continuity in cables, with results displayed via sequence indicator lights. Insert one end of the cable into the transmitter’s RJ45 port and the other end into the receiver’s RJ45 port. Observe the sequence light pattern to assess cable condition.
