This box is compatible with EDC15 and ME7 engine control units. The EDC15 control unit is used in diesel engines and installed in certain vehicle models from 1999 onwards. The ME7 control unit is used in gasoline engines with displacement of 1.6L and above. It is also compatible with ME7.5, ME7.5.1, ME7.1, and ME7.1.1 control units. Usage instructions: 1. Connect the EDC15/ME7 box to the vehicle’s OBD2 diagnostic socket. 2. Set the switch on the box to “OFF”. 3. After approximately 20 seconds, the immobilizer will be deactivated (IMMO OFF). 4. The LED indicator will flash slowly at first, then rapidly — indicating successful deactivation. 5. The vehicle can then be started without a transponder key. 6. To reactivate the immobilizer, set the switch to “ON”. After approximately 20 seconds, the immobilizer will be activated (IMMO ON). Compatible with vehicles equipped with EDC15 (diesel) or ME7 engine management systems. Not compatible with 1.8T, 2.0TFSI, 1.4L, or 1.6L engines.
