The AD9833 is a low-power programmable waveform generator capable of producing sine, triangle, and square wave outputs. It is suitable for applications such as waveform detection, signal generation, and time-domain reflectometry (TDR), where precise and stable frequency and phase control are required. The device is software-programmable and requires no external components.The frequency register is 28 bits wide. With a 25 MHz reference clock, it provides 0.1 Hz frequency resolution. When clocked at 1 MHz, the resolution improves to approximately 0.004 Hz.It features a standard serial interface compatible with various microprocessors and DSPs.
