Designed for older, fragile, or compromised corks to prevent breakage. Removes the cork whole and intact, eliminating pieces floating in the wine. Easy to use with a helix screw that stabilizes the cork during removal. Utilizes long and short blades to securely work between the cork and bottle. Allows for a smooth twisting and pulling motion to safely extract the cork without damage. Screw the helix into the center of the cork until the stabilizer bar rests against the top of the cork (or bottle). With blades on either side of the stabilizer bar, insert the long blade first, then the short blade between the cork and bottle. Work the blades down by pressing down alternately on each blade using the handle. Continue this rocking motion until the bottom of the handle rests against the top of the stabilizer bar. Hold the bottle securely. With the other hand, grasp the stabilizer bar and handle together, twist, and pull upward slowly while continuing to twist to remove the cork.
